New safe social networking site for kids

Togetherville is a new free social networking site specifically geared for children under the age of 10 and their parents.

Parents sign in through their Facebook page. A child cannot link with another child or adult without their parent’s approval. Parents can interact with their children, see what they are seeing, and receive weekly reports on what their children are doing. In addition, parents have complete access to the child’s profile and control over who the child interacts with.

Children experience Togetherville as a fun place to be and they can create things like birthday cards, gifts, logos and other artwork, play games, enjoy appropriate videos and post status updates.

Parents can give gifts to their children or vice versa, and kids can earn badges online or offline, and allowances.
