Cyberbullying prevention camp in North Carolina
Middle schoolers from Wilson County, North Carolina recently participated in a new cyberbullying prevention camp. The camp, themed "Delete Cyberbullying", was initiated to educate students on the dangers of cyberbullying.
Students created podcasts and videos to promote cyberbullying awareness using green screen technology. These will be shared with students and teachers throughout Wilson County Schools, in a county-wide cyberbullying prevention campaign.
North Carolina passed legislation this year making cyberbullying a criminal offense with a misdemeanor charge.
